I’d go back to October 2004 for the Red Sox – Yankees series leading to the World Series and the end of the 86-year “Curse of the Bambino.” There was no better time for a Red Sox fan.

I’d go back to that time I got caught doing something I shouldn’t have been doing and get the hell out of the house before I got caught.

I’d go back to the Michigan Wolverine’s locker room, before the football game against Appalachan State. I would have told them “This team is for real! Don’t take them for granted!”

I would go back to the 40’s and experience
the world of comedy via the Burlesque houses.
The world has lost these masters..

I’d go back to game 7 of the 1968 world series and warn the Cardinals Curt Flood that there’s a badly placed drain in Detroit’s center field.

I’d be thrilled just to go back as an invisible observer, to any of the Christmas Eve nights in our house when I was growing up. But I’d probably wind up a weepy mess, like Bill Murray in “Scrooged.” Those were precious times, indeed.

I’d love to say something deeply humanitarian – - but who am I kidding? I can barely get a main course and two side dishes on the dinner table at the same time. I don’t think I’m the ideal person to orchestrate the overthrow of Hitler. Besides I worry about messing with the time/space continuum too much. (I mean, come on…I didn’t see ALL of the Back To The Future movies for nothin’) – - I’m almost certain I would make things worse. So, I’d just go back and buy Microsoft – -because then I’d be very rich – - and Bill and Melinda could continue doing good things with all that money.

I’d go back to 9/10 and stop 9/11.

Construction of the great pyramids. How many times have your asked yourself — how did they do that? With what resources? The scale, the weight, the time line, the dedication, etc. Truly hard to believe. I’d like to see it! Could spark a fabulous debate on what’s more remarkable, the great pyramids rising as the result of muscular force…or the (for example) Luxor Las Vegas pyramid rising as the result of technological forces.

bring me back to the sixties just before the assasination of John Kennedy.
Those were the days my friend i thought they would never end.

I’d go back a few hours ago, my house.
I can’t remember where I left that book.
